In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules. 2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet. 3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel. 4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed. 5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists. The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies. In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain. 6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people. He further pointed out that any agreement must include a comprehensive cessation of aggression on the Palestinian people, a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, including the Philadelphia Corridor and the Rafah crossing, the freedom for the displaced people to return to their homes freely and without any hindrance or inspection, relief for our people, and reconstruction of what the occupation has destroyed, leading to the conclusion of a serious deal to exchange prisoners. “We are not in need of any new papers, and that proposals from any party must primarily discuss obligating Netanyahu and his fascist government to implement what has been agreed upon, not returning back to square one or turning in the same vicious circle that Netanyahu wants in order to achieve his real goals of continuing the aggression against our people and even expanding the aggression to turn it into a regional war that burns the entire region, destabilizes it, and destroys its capabilities.” “Everyone around the world has reached a clear conviction about the reasons for the disruption of the negotiations process and the party obstructing the agreement, which is constantly seeking to thwart the efforts to reach an agreement either by committing more massacres or setting new conditions. President Biden himself confirmed two days ago that Netanyahu is not doing enough to complete a deal, which is a stance, although shy and late, but clearly diagnoses the issue and indicates the responsibility of the fascist Zionist extremist government for the stumbling in this path.” Al-'Hayya emphasized that the policy of military escalation and committing more massacres to release prisoners by force has proven failure, and has led, and is leading, to more prisoners losing their lives either by bombing or direct shooting by the occupation soldiers, as happened in the Shuja'iya neighborhood [eastern Gaza City] and the Nusayrat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. If the US administration and its President Biden want to reach a ceasefire and complete a prisoner exchange deal, it must abandon its blind bias towards the Zionist occupation and its unlimited support for this fascist government, the Hamas leader continued. He called on the US administration to exert real pressure on Netanyahu and his government, and obligate them to what was previously agreed upon, which the Movement already agreed to on July 2, based on Biden’s announcement and the Security Council resolution. “We confirm that the Movement’s leadership has begun intensive communication with the mediators and several countries in the region and outside to clarify the Movement’s stance, the status of the negotiations process, and the intransigence, evasion, and obstruction it faces by Netanyahu and his fascist government.” “We confirm to our steadfast Palestinian people that we will not allow to pass any agreement that detracts from their right to stop this brutal aggression, gives legitimacy to any Zionist presence in any part of the Gaza Strip, and will not allow to place restrictions on the return of the displaced to their homes, on their relief, and on the reconstruction, and that we are committed to the achievement of a serious prisoner exchange deal.” He concluded by hailing the Palestinian people for their legendary steadfastness, which smashed all of Netanyahu’s fascist plans, applauding the Palestinian resistance from all factions. *** UN wants full investigation into killing of Turkish-US activist NEW YORK, Friday, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) – The United Nations today called for a "full investigation" and accountability for the killing of a Turkish-US activist by the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank. "I can tell you that we would want to see a full investigation of the circumstances and that people should be held accountable,” the UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said in a news conference as reported by Turkish news agency TRT World. Dujarric emphasized that “civilians must be protected at all times.” Responding to a question on whether there had been any accountability for UN personnel killed by Israel, he replied, “We have not seen any developments in that regard.” He noted that investigations measures are expected to take place “once the fighting ceases,” while acknowledging that Israel has not investigated killings of civilians. K.F. Female international activist killed by Israeli gunfire in Baita NABLUS, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) – A 26-year-old female international activist succumbed to her wounds on Friday after being shot and critically injured in the head by Israeli occupation forces in Baita, a town located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. The activist, who was identified as Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, an American of Turkish descent, was shot in the head by live ammunition while participating in the weekly protest against settlement expansion. Medical sources confirmed that the activist was rushed to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus and placed in the intensive care unit. Despite the efforts of medical teams to save her, she passed away due to her severe injuries. Local sources indicated that the confrontation erupted when Israeli forces violently suppressed the protest, which involved firing live ammunition, stun grenades, and tear gas at demonstrators. The same incident also resulted in an 18-year-old Palestinian being injured by shrapnel in the thigh. The activist was involved with the Faz'a campaign, which works to support and protect Palestinian farmers from Israeli military and settler violations. M.N. *** UN warns of catastrophic situation: 50,000 children in Gaza suffer from acute malnutrition Friday 6-September-2024 NEW YORK, (PIC) The UN children’s organization, UNICEF, reported that more than 50,000 children in Gaza are suffering from acute malnutrition, warning that the humanitarian situation in the region has become “beyond catastrophic.” Victor Aguayo, UNICEF’s nutrition director, said that this number of children in Gaza is enduring acute malnutrition and requires immediate treatment. This follows earlier warnings from the organization about an imminent explosion in the humanitarian crisis and an increase in child mortality related to malnutrition. UNICEF indicated that 9 out of 10 children in Gaza lack adequate nutrients to ensure their healthy growth and development. The sharp rise in malnutrition rates among children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers poses serious threats to their lives. The organization noted that food and clean drinking water are extremely scarce, and infectious diseases are spreading, adversely affecting the nutrition and immunity of women and children, leading to an increase in cases of acute malnutrition. UNICEF, the World Food Program, and the World Health Organization urgently called for safe and sustainable access to multi-sectorial humanitarian aid throughout Gaza without obstacles. Meanwhile, the Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed that dozens of children have died due to malnutrition in recent months. Stéphane Dujarric, spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, warned that over one million people in Gaza did not receive food rations in southern and central Gaza through humanitarian means during August. Dujarric added that “despite the challenges we face, the UN and other humanitarian organizations continue to do everything possible to provide life-saving assistance to Palestinians,” following his previous statements that the risks facing humanitarian workers in Gaza have become unbearable. Warnings from international and UN bodies continue to escalate regarding the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza amid a grim famine scene and the targeting of relief workers in previous incidents, which hinders the entry of aid into the besieged territory that has been under Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, resulting in tens of thousands of martyrs and injured. *** *** Killing and Injuring of Palestinians in Ghazza (Gaza) by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces*** On September 5, 2024, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, the Spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment on the Gaza Strip resulted in 2 main massacres, in which 17 Palestinian civilians were killed, and the 56 others were injured, in the past 48 hours (from a specific time of yesterday to a specific time of today). This increased the accounted for death toll in Gaza Strip to 40,878 and the injuries to 94,454, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023. *** US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters Day 336 Friday 6-September-2024 GAZA, (PIC) As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 336 on Friday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians. Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and shelter centers and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours. Two Palestinians were killed and two others were injured in an Israeli attack north of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza, while two martyrs were pulled out following an Israeli bombing north of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip. The Israeli artillery also shelled east of Al-Maghazi and north of Al-Nusayrat in the central Gaza Strip. Intensive gunfire, meanwhile, targeted displacement tents southwest of Rafa'h city. In a similar attack, a woman and her daughter were killed, and several others were injured while many remained under the rubble after an Israeli airstrike targeted Al-Haddad family house in Gaza City at dawn today. For the second time in a row within hours, the Israeli forces blew up residential buildings in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. Six people were killed and five others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Radhi family house near the Badr Mosque in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. In Khan Younus, a number of citizens were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the city center. Civil defense crews, meanwhile, pulled out the bodies of 6 martyrs from different areas in Rafa'h, south of the Strip. The Israeli forces also bombed a Palestinian-owned house in Al-Maghazi refugee camp, which led to the killing of one person and the injury of several others who were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, while a citizen was killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp. *** More than 33 Palestinians killed in Gaza since morning hours Friday 6-September-2024 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out since the early morning on Friday several massacres in the Gaza Strip, most of which targeted displaced families in their displacement tents and residential areas, resulting in the deaths of dozens of civilians, most of them children and women. Medical sources reported that the total number of martyrs since dawn today has risen to 33 martyrs, including children and women. An Israeli reconnaissance plane targeted a group of citizens sitting on the roof of a house belonging to the Shahada family in the Abu Saleem area west of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, killing at least 6 people and wounding several others. In Khan Younus, the IOFs also targeted a house belonging to the Qandeel family, killing 5 family members. A similar attack on a residential apartment on Al-Nadeem Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood east of Gaza killed a woman and two children. Two more people were killed, and several others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the 'Hammad family house in the Al-Alami area behind Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip. The Israeli occupation forces also bombed displacement tents in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza City, killing two women and two children, and wounding others. Meanwhile, the Civil Defense crews stated that they recovered 3 martyrs in an Israeli bombing of the Al-'Haddad family house west of Gaza City, while more victims are still under the rubble. Local sources reported that two Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing of a house in Jabalya camp, north of the Gaza Strip. In Gaza City, a woman and her child were killed in an airstrike in the Sabra neighborhood, while 3 others were killed in a similar attack in Tel Al-Hawa. A child was also killed in an Israeli attack on a gathering of displaced people in Al-Maghazi refugee camp. *** Israeli genocidal airstrikes on central Gaza Strip kills number of Palestinians GAZA, Friday, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Friday evening carried airstrikes on the central war-torn Gaza Strip, killing a number of Palestinian civilians, according to medical sources. They said that paramedics evacuated a number of fatalities and casualties to al-Awda Hospital following Israeli bombardment that targeted a house of the She'hada family to the west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the central Strip. They added that the body of a fatality arrived at the Arab al-Ahli Hospital in the city of Gaza following an Israeli bombing that targeted a group of Palestinians in the vicinity of Al-Mujamma' Al-Islami Mosque in Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza. This brings the tally of Palestinian deaths in the Strip since the predawn hours of today to 33. The Israel occupation apartheid regime has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafah, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention. The Israel regime has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 40,878 Palestinians and injuring over 94,454 others, by September 5, 2024. Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip. Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children. The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba. K.F. *** Israeli bombardment kills 13 Palestinians, injures others in Gaza Strip GAZA, Friday, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli bombardment today killed at least 13 Palestinians and injured others across the war-torn Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondent. She said that Israeli occupation forces targeted a tent sheltering displaced people, west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the central Strip, killing four civilians and injuring four others. The bodies of the slain civilians, namely two young women and two child sisters, were taken to the Al-'Awda Hospital in the camp, and the casualties, namely three female children and a youth, to Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Dair El-Bala'h. The occupation forces also targeted a house belonging to the Yaseen family in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, killing four civilians, including two children and a woman, and injuring others. Meanwhile, Israeli fighter jets pounded a house near Nassar Circle in the Ash-Sheikh area in the northern Strip, resulting in a number of fatalities and casualties. Israeli bombing also targeted a house belonging to the Qandeel family in the downtown part of the city of Khan Younus, killing five civilians and injuring others. Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafa'h, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention. Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 40,878 Palestinians and injuring over 94,454 others. K.F. *** Six Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on Rafa'h GAZA, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) - At least six Palestinians were killed and several others injured early this morning following an Israeli airstrike on the city of Rafa'h in the southern Gaza Strip. Local reports confirmed that six bodies were recovered from Rafa'h after the missile strike, with the victims being transported to Nasser Hospital in the neighboring city of Khan Younus. Additionally, emergency responders from the Palestinian Red Crescent reported injuries resulting from another Israeli attack on the Shubair Street in central Khan Younus. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in 40,878 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 94,454 others injured. Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks. M.N. *** Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling claim multiple lives in Gaza GAZA, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) — A series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling across various parts of the Gaza Strip over the last few hours resulted in the killing and injuries of several civilians, including women and children. According to health sources, six people were killed and five others were injured when an Israeli airstrike targeted a home near Al-Badr Mosque in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. The victims were identified as A'hmed Nayif Radi, Nayif A'hmed Radhi, Na-ila A'hmed Radhi, 'Alaa Nazeer Al-Naffar, Na-ila 'Ali Radhi, and Shatta Nayif Radhi. The wounded were transported to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that six fatalities and several injuries were transported to the hospital following the airstrike on the Radhi family home. Civil defense teams also recovered bodies from the rubble of a house in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, and efforts were underway to locate additional missing individuals. In Khan Younus, several people were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the city center. Additionally, rescue teams recovered the bodies of six individuals from various areas in Rafa'h, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. In the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike targeted the home of the Al-Haddad family, resulting in the murder of a woman and her daughter, with others injured or missing. The victims were also taken to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital. Furthermore, three more individuals were killed and five others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Sabra neighborhood early this morning. An additional airstrike on a home in the Maghazi refugee camp resulted in one civilian killed and several others injured, while another strike on Al-Nusayrat refugee camp also led to a fatality and multiple injuries. Meantime, Israeli occupation forces destroyed residential buildings in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood for the second time within hours. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in 40,878 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 94,454 others injured, by September 5, 2024. Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks. M.N. *** *** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces *** Palestinian girl killed in illegal Israeli settler attack south of Nablus NABLUS, Friday, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian girl Friday evening was killed in an illegal Israeli settler attack in the village of Qaryout, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS). PRCS said that its paramedics provided first aid treatment to a 13-year-old girl who sustained critical gunshot wounds in the chest after being shot by Israeli forces in the course of confrontations in the village. It added that Bana Amjad Bakr was rushed to the Rafeedya Government Hospital in Nablus, where she was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. Bana’s father, Amjad, said that his daughter was hit by Israeli army gunshots while she was along with her sisters in their room. Earlier, Israeli colonists shot a young man, 34, with live gunfire, injuring him in the hand, at a time when they brutally beat up another, 30, leaving him in bruises. Local sources reported that colonists stormed the village and attacked the villagers’ houses in the southern part, pelting them with stones and setting tracts of farmland on fire. Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. The illegal Israeli settler violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others. Over 700,000 Israeli colonists are living in colonies across Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and the West Bank in violation of international law. *** Palestinians suffocate in Israeli occupation army raid south of Nablus NABLUS, Friday, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) – A number of Palestinians today suffocated in an Israeli occupation army raid in the village of Burin, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources. They said that the occupation forces stormed the village, while simultaneously firing barrages of live ammunition and tear gas canisters, causing a number of the villagers to suffocate. They added that the soldiers rounded up a young man in the course of the raid. The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents. These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers. Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised. K.F. *** Israeli occupation forces withdraw from Jineen after ten days of intense assault Jineen, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) — In the early hours of Friday morning, Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the city of Jineen and its refugee camp after ten days of military aggression. The assault, described as one of the bloodiest since 2002, resulted in the murder of 21 individuals, including children and elderly persons, with several others sustaining serious injuries. The aggression also caused extensive destruction throughout the area. Residents have expressed concerns over the possibility of a return by Israeli occupation forces, who have previously re-stormed the city and the refugee camp after similar withdrawals. Military checkpoints surrounding Jenin remain active, heightening fears of further incursions. The recent aggression has been characterized as exceptionally severe, with significant casualties and damage reported across the Jenin governorate. M.N *** IOFs continues its aggression in Jineen, thousands attend the funeral of the city’s martyrs Friday 6-September-2024 Jineen, (PIC) The Israeli army said on Friday that the military incursion it began in the city of Jineen in the northern occupied West Bank ten days ago is still ongoing. In an official statement, the army said its forces will continue the operation until achieving its objectives, without specifying what those objectives are. The statement claimed the elimination of 14 resistance fighters in Jineen, the kidnapping of more than 30 individuals accused of involvement in resistance activities, and the destruction of approximately 30 explosive devices. The Israeli army also claimed to have found weapons and combat equipment that were seized. A total of 21 citizens have been martyred, including children and the elderly, with others wounded, some seriously, in the occupation army’s assault on Jenin province, which has been described as the bloodiest and most intense since 2002. Earlier, eyewitnesses reported that the occupation army withdrew from the cities of Toulkarm and Jenin in the northern West Bank and their refugee camps after a ten-day military aggression that left 36 Palestinian martyrs and widespread destruction of infrastructure. On August 28, the occupation army launched a large-scale military aggression in the northern West Bank, which included the cities and refugee camps of Jineen, Toulkarm, Tubas, and the Fari'a refugee camp, resulting in repeated incursions that led to the killing and arrest of many Palestinians. At the same time, thousands in Jineen attended funerals for eight Palestinians who were killed by the occupation army during the military assault on the city. The funeral processions started in front of the Jineen government hospital, where mourners raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning Israeli violations, while armed individuals fired in the air to express their anger and demand retribution. For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported today that last week was the deadliest for Palestinian civilians in the West Bank since November 2023. The agency clarified in a post on the X platform that “violence and destruction in the West Bank are continuously increasing amid the ongoing war on Gaza,” emphasizing that this situation is “unacceptable and must stop immediately.” UNRWA noted that last week saw the killing of many Palestinians, including seven children. It explained that the Israeli aggression in the northern West Bank has thus far resulted in the martyrdom of 40 Palestinians, including 21 from Jenin, eight from Tulkarem, eight from Tubas, and three from Al-Khaleel (Hebron). The occupation forces continue their aggression in the West Bank concurrently with the ongoing extermination war in Gaza since October 7, 2023, with the army and settlers intensifying their attacks in the West Bank, resulting in the martyrdom of 691 Palestinians and the injury of 5,700 others, as well as the arrest of more than 10,400 Palestinians, according to official Palestinian organizations. *** Large-scale IOFs kidnapping campaign throughout West Bank Friday 6-September-2024 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched a large-scale raid and kidnapping campaign in several areas of the West Bank at dawn Friday. In Bethlehem, the IOFs kidnapped the young man 'Hamza 'Abdullah Sharaara, 25, after raiding and searching his family’s home in Al-Duhaishe refugee camp. In Ramallah, the IOFs brutally attacked a young man after stopping him at a military checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Shuqba, north of the city. The IOFs soldiers closed the door of the jeep on his fingers, which led to the amputation of two fingers and the breaking of two others. Meanwhile, a group of the illegal Israeli settlers set fire to a Palestinian-owned vehicle and wrote racist slogans on walls of a local house in Abu Fala'h village, northeast of Ramallah. *** Palestinian ex-prisoner diagnosed with leukemia a week after his release Friday 6-September-2024 Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), (PIC) The Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said in a statement issued on Thursday that the final medical examinations of ex-prisoner Ism'eeil Yousuf Taqatqa, 40, confirmed that he had leukemia only a week after his release from the Israeli prisons after spending five months behind bars. The statement said that Taqatqa, a father of four children, did not suffer from any health problems before his arrest in March 2023. During his detention in 'Ofer Prison, his health condition deteriorated, which led to his transfer to Hadassah Hospital in Israel. He was then released on August 29, 2024 from Hadassah Hospital, on a bail of 10,000 shekels, and was immediately transferred to Al-Najah University Hospital, where he underwent a series of medical tests that confirmed that he had leukemia. Taqatqa is a new victim of the medical crimes carried out by the Israeli prison administration against Palestinian prisoners and detainees, in addition to a series of systematic crimes that escalated after October 7, most notably torture and starvation, the statement reads. The statement held the Israeli prison administration fully responsible for the serious health situation facing Taqatqa, and for the fate of thousands of prisoners who face systematic abuses aimed at killing them, or causing them chronic and serious health problems that are difficult to treat later. *** Note: The Israeli occupation forces have no jurisdiction to arrest or detain Palestinian citizens in the West Bank, that's why the correct term for what they do illegally is kidnapping, not arrest or detention. *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Palestinian girl killed in an illegal Israeli settler attack south of Nablus NABLUS, Friday, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian girl Friday evening was killed in an illegal Israeli settler attack in the village of Qaryout, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS). Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others. Over 700,000 Israeli colonists are living in colonies across Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and the West Bank in violation of international law. *** Armed colonists attack Palestinians villagers in southern Hebron HEBRON, Friday, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) – Armed Israeli colonists today attacked Palestinian villagers of Khirbet Zanouta, south of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, according to WAFA correspondent. He said that armed colonists assaulted several villagers while the latter were at a water well, beating them up and preventing them from using the well. The villagers attempted to fend off the colonists’ attack, but a number of them ended up sustaining bruises and cuts. Meanwhile, a large number of colonists stormed the site of Ma‘een Well (Beer Ma‘een) in Masafir Yatta, prevented Palestinians from approaching it, set up a tent at the site and performed rituals. In mid-August, colonists stormed and carried out restoration work for the well, located on the eastern slopes of Tel Ma‘een archaeological site and close to Shi'b Al-Butum, one of the hamlets making up Masafir Yatta. The illegal Israeli settlers frequent intrusions to the site are intended to seize it. 'Hasan Mulai'hat, Head of the Al-Baydar Association for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, said that three colonists took over an abandoned dwelling on the outskirts of the community, settled inside and brought their livestock along with a water tank in a step intended to serve as the nucleus of a new colonial outpost. He added that the assailants came from a nearby colonial outpost whose head has carried out many attacks on Palestinians in the area. Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others. Over 700,000 Israeli colonists are living in colonies across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law. K.F. *** Illegal Israeli settlers scrawl racist graffiti, torch vehicle northeast of Ramallah RAMALLAH, September 6, 2024 (WAFA) - In the early hours of Friday, a group of the illegal Israeli settlers launched an attack on Abu Falih village, located northeast of Ramallah. According to Palestinian security sources, the attackers set fire to a vehicle belonging to local resident Mu'hammed Jameel Shoman. In addition to the vehicle arson, the colonists vandalized a house in village, scrawling racist graffiti on its walls. The incident is the latest in an ongoing pattern of state-sponsored violence by Israeli colonists, a pattern that has seen exponential growth over the last year with the rise of hard-right Zionist nationalism to the Israeli government coalition. A legacy of sacrifice: The Zubeidi family's enduring struggle By Yamin Al-Nubani Jineen, September 5, 2024 (WAFA) – Today, 21 years later, Mohammed has taken his final steps as a martyr, joining a family legacy that has already sacrificed eight martyrs from a total of fewer than 40 family members. Mu'hammed Al-Zubeidi's life was cut short at the age of 21 after an Israeli airstrike targeted five young men in Tubas early this morning. His father, Zakariya Al-Zubaydi, had hoped that the occupation would allow him to grow up and become a doctor or lawyer, wishing for him to have a life better than his own, which was marred by "hopelessness." Following the martyrdom of his brother Dawood on May 15, 2022, Zakariya Al-Zubaydi said, "I never had the chance to bid farewell to those I lost or bury them. When my father was martyred, I was in Jineen prison and heard the news over the mosque’s loudspeaker." Back then, he added, "My mother was martyred in the Jenin Camp Battle and buried by the Red Cross; we couldn't reach her due to the intensity of the battle. She always said, 'May my day come before yours.' My brother Taha was buried while I was under the rubble of the camp and destroyed houses. Today, Dawood has joined them, and I was unable to say goodbye or perform the mourning rituals. I don't know what it's like; I've never experienced it personally." The Zubaydi family, consisting of only 40 members in the Jenin refugee camp, has not buried a single natural death since 1993, the year Mu'hammed Al-Zubaydi (Zakaria and Dawood's father) passed away. Instead, they have buried eight martyrs, including Mohammed, who fell this morning, preceded by his cousin Na'eem Jamal on December 1, 2022. The home of brothers Mu'hammed and Jamal Zubeidi, refugees from "Wadi al-Hawarith - Caesarea," has sacrificed more than 90 years of their members' lives in Israeli prisons. According to Jamal Al-Zubaydi, known as Abu Antoan, in a previous interview with WAFA, the family arrests began in the mid-1950s when Mu'hamed Jahjah, Zakariya’s grandfather, was detained for about four years. He later freed himself during a prison rebellion at Shata Prison on July 30, 1958, along with 68 other prisoners, 11 of whom were martyred and 13 injured. After his release, he moved in 1963 to lead armed struggle in the "'Hasan" camp in Irbid before moving with the fighters to Syria and then Germany in the early 1970s. He added: "Mu'hammed Al-Zubeidi, Zakariya's father, was arrested in 1969 for one year and later during the First Intifada for eight months under administrative detention. I, along with my brother Ibraheem, was arrested in 1979 for a year and a half, and we were released at the end of 1980." "Following our release, my brother Ibrahim was exiled to Jordan for five years, but the occupation did not allow him to return home after his exile ended, and he passed away there in 2012. I was arrested six times, mostly under administrative detention, with the last arrests occurring in 2011 and 2014, totaling four years," Jamal added. Zakariya was arrested twice during the First Intifada, sentenced to six months initially and then to five years, before being released after the Oslo Accords. He was recently arrested again in February 2019, bringing his total time in Israeli prisons to eight years. His brother "Abd" was sentenced to six months during the First Intifada and later to six years. Jamal continued: "All of my brother Mohammed's children were arrested, many of them repeatedly. 'Jibril' spent over 13 years in prison—12 years initially, then ten months, and six months in a third period. 'Ya'hya' spent 17 years in prison, and the martyr 'Taha' spent two years during four periods of administrative detention in the First Intifada. The martyr 'Dawood' spent 16 years in Israeli prisons. My children 'Mohamed' spent 3 years and 9 months, 'Yusuf' spent 3 years and a half, and 'Na'eem' spent 5 years in Israeli prisons." Jamal, also known by his nickname, Abu Anton, repeatedly rejects the significant attention surrounding his family, considering their actions to be their natural duty. He points out that there are other families in the camp who have made sacrifices just as great as his own. Abu Anton added: "The martyrs of my family and relatives include: my brother Mohamed’s wife, Sameera Al-Zubaydi (March 4, 2002), and the martyr Taha Al-Zubaydi, son of Sameera, who was martyred during the April 2002 battle. My niece's son, Ziad Amer (April 3, 2002), a leader of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and Fatah’s military wing in Jenin camp, had his house blown up in 1988 and was arrested at that time, later released in 1994 after being sentenced to life." He continued, "Another niece's son, Nidhal Abu Shadouf (from Barqeen, whose body has been held by the occupation since July 2001), and Dawood Al-Zubaydi (May 15, 2022). Added to them are: Na'eem Jamal Al-Zubaydi (December 1, 2022) and Mohamed Zakaria Zubeidi (September 5, 2024)." "With my own hands, I transported most of the martyrs' bodies from the camp in April 2002. The most painful scene was when I came across Taha's body, not recognizing him as it was burned from the bombing, with only his forehead visible, covered by a piece of resistance cloth," Abu Anton remarked. Abu Anton went on, "The family’s struggle against the Israeli occupation: Our father died in 1980 while I and my brother Ibrahim were in prison, and our third brother Mohamed 'Abu al-Abed' was in Jordan. Thus, our father was buried without any of us being able to attend his funeral or say goodbye. "The occupation did not stop at targeting the family but also prevented us from bidding farewell to our relatives. In 1985, my brother Mu'hamed 'Abu Al-Abd,' who was arrested twice during the First Intifadha, fell ill. The occupation refused to allow him into hospitals within Israel, and he died on May 26, 1993. When he died, 'Abd' and Zakariya were in prison and could not attend his funeral. My brother Abu Al-Abd's house was first demolished in June 1988, during the explosion of my niece Ziyad 'Aamir's house, which damaged 35 homes due to the blast," he explained to WAFA. He continued, "On one of the days of the camp battle, we were 14 people taking shelter in a small bathroom, and three missiles fell on our house, destroying it. But we survived, moving to a neighbor's house, which was then bombed. We survived once more. It was our fate to survive despite the intensity of the bombing." M.N.
